This month is the Be a Star promotion at Gala Bingo . There are several different parts to it. One is a prize draw to win a luxurious weekend in London. All members have to do is deposit and spend £10 over the course of the month. If £5 is deposited and spent on a Tuesday players will receive a “rent one, get one free” voucher for Blockbusters. There are also the Gala awards where players can vote for categories such as favourite room and be entered into a draw to win £500. Linked games take place on Sundays. They start at £1,000 and build up to £5,000 by the end of the month.

There is bargain bingo taking place every day at Gala Bingo. Penny games are offered for an hour in Sharon’s and there are 2 pence, 3 pence and 5 pence tickets available for 2 hours each day. Buy one get one free is also offered every day on all 3 types of bingo – 90, 80 and 75. The times vary. Gala have set up a new linked progressive jackpot called High 5. It is played in 10 of the clubs. If someone wins on a number ending in 5, they get 50% of the jackpot. The other half is split between the rest of that club’s roomies. 1 to go and 2 to go prizes are awarded on certain games every day in the 90 ball rooms. If a player has either 1 or 2 numbers to go when the full house is called, they win 50 pence. One of Gala’s newest features is the Windicate. Each Windicate has 5 members. Whenever somebody wins a full house, everyone else in that player’s Windicate receives 50 pence.
